Monte Carlo Fashions Ltd was launched in 1984 by Oswal Woollen Mills Ltd, the flagship company of Nahar group. The launch was a significant step in the evolution of branded garment industry in India. Since then, it has been catering to the ever-growing demands of the Clothing and Fashion industry. However, with effect from April 1, 2011, the woollen and cotton garments business of OWM under the brands 'Monte Carlo' was demerged into our Company.

Our woollen products include sweaters and cardigans, whereas, our cotton knitted garments include T-Shirts and Track Suits. Our woven garments portfolio includes Shirts, Trousers, Suits, Jackets and Denims. Our woollen and cotton garments primarily cater to the premium and mid-premium segments in the branded apparel industry. We also supply accessories including belts, ties, inner wears, thermal wears and socks.

The strength of our brand 'MONTE CARLO' has significantly contributed to the success of our business. We believe that our success depends on our ability to anticipate, identify and respond to changing fashion trends in a timely manner. Monte Carlo has pushed the envelope on high street fashion. The products offered under brand Monte Carlo, apart from Woollen knitted garments, include T-Shirts, Shirts, Linen Shirts, Denim, Trousers, Dresses, Shorts, Tunics, Sportswear & much more for men, women and tweens (8-14 years age group). The main objective of the Company is to stand up to the buyers' expectations with consistent quality backed with R&D divisions equipped with latest technology, a team of highly qualified technocrats and adhering to timely schedules.

  • The brand has gained the ISO 9001: 2000 certifications and has been felicitated with the prestigious award 'Superbrand' for the hosiery garments by the International Wool Secretariat.
  • It has also emerged as the No. 1 brand in the men's wear category in a survey conducted in the summer of 2009 by Images-ORG-MARG.
  • In 2014, Monte Carlo was honored as one of ASIA'S BEST MARKETING BRANDS by World Consulting & Research Corporation (WCRC).
The Company's products reach the end user through different channels i.e. through Exclusive Brand Outlets, Multi Brand Outlets, Large Format Outlets and through e-commerce websites. Currently, Monte Carlo is available through more than 200 exclusive brand outlets, over 1300 multi brand outlets and more than sixty large format stores.

Due to this farsightedness and the passion towards our work, we are proud to say that in the branded woolen wear segment, Monte Carlo enjoys a market share of more than fifty percent. Keeping the consistent growth patterns of the brand and its growing awareness and popularity, we are confident that the brand Monte Carlo will be a leading fashion and life style brand internationally in the coming years.
