Nahar Poly Films Limited (Previously known as Nahar Exports Limited) belongs to 'Nahar Group of Companies'. The company was incorporated as a Public Limited Company on 11th November, 1988. Earlier the company was engaged in the manufacture and Exports of Cotton, Synthetic and blended Yarns.
Pursuant to the Scheme of De-merger and Arrangement between Nahar Spinning Mills Limited, Nahar Exports Limited and Nahar Capital and Financial Services Limited, duly approved by the Hon'ble Punjab and Haryana High Court at Chandigarh, Company's 'Textile Business' got de-merged and transferred to Nahar Spinning Mills Limited with effect from 01.04.2006 and the company was left with 'Residual Business' in the form of some long term Investments.
In the year 2009, Management decided to put up a BI-AXIALLY ORIENTED POLYPOROPYLENE FILMS (BOPP FILMS) project with an annual capacity of 30000 Ton at Distt. Raisen (near Bhopal) in the State of Madhya Pradesh. The BOPP Films are mainly used in flexible packaging and sold in the domestic and international markets.
The company has put up 2nd line of BOPP project with a capacity of 30000 Tonnes Per Annum (TPA) at Village Sarakia/Itaya Kalan, Near Mandideep, Hoshangabad Road, District Raisen in the State of Madhya Pradesh, in February, 2022. After this expansion, Company’s installed capacity stand increased to 60000 TPA. The company's products have been well received in domestic as well as in export markets.
